Port Townsend author, Kaci Cronkhite, presents Finding PAX: the unexpected journey of a little wooden boat for the second time on Whidbey Island - in support of Sno-Isle Libraries.
A cowgirl, a circumnavigator, a decade-long wooden boat festival director, and a non-profit executive, Kaci knew better than to buy a wooden boat. But, smitten with the buxom curves of the 28-foot 1936 Danish spidgatter named PAX, she did. What followed was the haulout from hell that turned into a 7-year quest to restore the boat's history in three countries. A journey that brought together generations.
