Each month CWB finds a speaker of wit and experience to talk about his or her special knowledge. It is also an opportunity for CWB members to meet one another and the staff.

Kaci Cronkhite presents Finding PAX: the unexpected journey of a little wooden boat for the first time in Seattle! A circumnavigator, a wooden boat festival director, and a non-profit executive, Kaci knew better than to buy a wooden boat. But, smitten with the buxom curves of the 1936 Danish spidgatter PAX, she did. What followed was the haulout from hell that turned into a 7-year quest to restore the boat's history in three countries. A journey that brought together generations.

Program runs from 7:00 to 9:00, with opportunities to ask questions. Admission is free and light refreshments are served. Donations to cover costs are appreciated. For more information call Center for Wooden Boats at 206-382-2628.
