Join the Jefferson Country Historical Society for the launch of FINDING PAX, the new book by Port Townsend author and round-the-world-sailor Kaci Cronkhite, who spent ten years as the "dynamo behind the Wooden Boat Festival".
Built in 1936, the Danish-built boat PAX appeared in Kaci's email in 2007 for sale in Canada. What transpired over the next seven years has been called "an international quest," "a mystery," and "nothing less than the love story of a wooden boat." Meet Kaci, hear the story, get your copy of the book!
NOTE: Due to audience expectations, this event has been moved to the Cotton Building, across the street from the Museum at 607 Water Street in Port Townsend.
